PostgreSQL OnLine Troubleshoot.
PostgreSQL Meetup on RITFest 2015 at Moscow, Russia.
Today was the first day of the festival RIT. One of the events of the festival was a PostgreSQL meetup. On meetup, I and my colleague Ilya Kosmodemyansky showed the process of finding and eliminating problems in PostgreSQL. As an example, we were taken two common cases:
1) Bad release — after deploying the code performance was dropped unexpectedly.
2) Load increasing — a situation where with increasing attendance, the number of connections to the database also increased and we should use the connection pooler (pgbouncer).
